Your website
PinkPaper.com is Britain’s leading gay news website.
But it’s about more than that. As well as being updated each day with the latest news, it also contains exclusive entertainment stories, interviews, travel reports, reviews, and more. We are also the first title in the market to put citizen journalists at the forefront of what we do, through our innovative Your.PinkPaper.com site.
Pink Paper was founded as a tabloid-sized newspaper in 1987 but had to suspend it's printed version at the end of June 2009 due to the recession. While Pink Paper was the best-read gay title in the country, it lacked the advertising to keep it afloat during these tough economic times. Publishers MPG are hoping to re-instate the newspaper once the economy improves. Meanwhile, we are showing our commitment to providing free news, information and entertainment to our brand by building on PinkPaper.com, where readership is increasing each month.
Like the print product, the the website features all the arts, culture and travel coverage you’d expect from Pink Paper including big name celebrity interviews.
Reflecting our role as a community brand, we don’t carry gratuitous sexual imagery in print or digitally – clearly distinguishing us from most competing sites.
This policy, together with our wide national reach and our strong mixed male and female readership (another unique Pink Paper feature) make the title the natural home for recruitment advertising and we are proud to have a formidable reputation in this field. Vacancies advertised online at Jobs.Pink Paper.com are backed up with jobs news articles, profiles of companies and advice and guidance for students and professionals who want to further their careers.
Pink Paper's reputation for news has been built up over two decades. We are unique in the gay media in having regional correspondents across England, Scotland and Wales allowing us to cover stories which directly impact on our readers across the country. Our news section has a reputation for breaking stories and covers everything from crime to TV and from politics to the latest celebrity gossip. You can read all our stories at News.PinkPaper.com.
We also have a dedicated sports section. We encourage contributions from gay, lesbian and bisexual teams and sportsmen and women across the country. Pink Sport is available digitally through the News.PinkPaper.com part of our site.
Pink Paper is very much owned by it’s readers and it’s now possible for anyone to log in to Your.PinkPaper.com and write their own news, lifestyle, culture and comment articles which appear on the Your homepage. This site is breaking new ground in gay citizen journalism and we encourage you to help us make it a success by taking part.
Pink Paper is owned by Millivres Prowler Group which also publishes AXM, DIVA, GT (formerly Gay Times) and Puffta and runs the Prowler and Expectations stores and brands. MPG has over 30 years experience in gay publishing and you can read more about the company and its history by visiting the corporate website at millivres.co.uk.
